Who is Dr. Fuhrman?
Dr. Fuhrman, a Flemington local, is a world renowned nutrition expert, nutrition researcher, and board certified family physician who uses a "Nutritarian" lifestyle approach to aid in healthy weight loss, reverse  heart disease, diabetes, and many autoimmune disorders, prevent chronic disease, and support overall health and longevity.

What is the "Nutritarian Diet?"
According to Dr. Fuhrman, "Nutritarian" is used "to describe a diet that is nutrient-dense and plant-rich, and includes anti-cancer superfoods, which also facilitate weight loss. These foods supply both the right amount of macronutrients (protein, fat and carbohydrates) and the vital micronutrients (vitamins, phytochemicals and minerals) that unleash the body’s incredible power to heal itself and slow the aging process, giving the body renewed vitality."

What ingredients will you use?
For this program, there will be an abundance of vegetables, beans, fruit, and small amounts of whole grains and nuts and seeds!

What ingredients will you be avoiding?
All added sugar (if it doesn't come from a whole plant with intact fiber, you won't find it here), all oils (not a whole food, 100% fat, promotes weight gain), refined flours, processed foods, and all animal products.

Eat healthy & watch the weight fall off!
