Guiltless fruit dip that is easy to make and will blow the socks off of your family and friends! It has a vanilla caramel taste and definitely satisfies a sweet tooth. The best part is it is completely salt, oil, and sugar free! Compared to a slice of cake [even whole food plant-based cake], this dessert is far easier, faster, & healthier :)

Ingredients 

Vanilla Cake Sauce
¼ cup pitted Medjool Dates
¼ cup water or non-dairy milk
 ¼ cup Almond Butter [or nut butter of choice]
 ½ tsp Vanilla Bean Powder [healthier than extract, but use 1/2 tsp vanilla extract if you don't have powder]
 ½ tsp Chai Spices [click for recipe, or you can use just Ceylon Cinnamon]

Fruit [adjust to your preferences; I like blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, peaches, apples bananas, etc]
 1 Banana Sliced
 4 large Strawberries
 ½ cup Blue Berries
 1 tbsp Coconut Flakes, Hemp Seeds, Cacoa Nibs [optional garnish]

Directions

1.   Add dates and water or non-dairy milk to a small container and soak the dates for 30 minutes [*if you have a high powered blender like a Vitamix or NutriBullet, you can skip this step].
2.  Add all Vanilla Cake Sauce ingredients to the blender and blend until super smooth and creamy, about 1 minute.
3.  Arrange fruit on a plate/bowl. Place the sauce mixture into a piping bag and drizzle over fruit! Alternatively, you can use a spoon to drizzle it or dip your fruit into the sauce.  Top with desired garnish!
4.  Store remaining sauce in an airtight container for 6 to 7 days in the fridge <3
